The Information Technology Cluster includes careers from four major pathways.  These careers focus on design, development, support and management of hardware, software, and multimedia and systems integration services.  IT careers are seen in virtually every sector of our economy including Finance, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, Medical, Agriculture, and Communication just to name a few.  These careers are challenging and change quickly.  Preparation for an IT career should begin with a solid foundation in math and science and continue through additional high school IT courses, two-year community college, four-year universities, and/or technical institutions.  The four IT career pathways are:
